Who Can Apply for NLNG Post Graduate Scholarship?
- Must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, resident in Nigeria, and committed to returning to Nigeria after completing the studies.
- Must have graduated from a public university in Nigeria.
- Must have completed one year of compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
- Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship award, bursary or grant from any other organization.
- Have demonstrated academic excellence and strong leadership ability
- Have a clear vision of how his/her study will benefit the chosen field and Nigeria.
- Must not be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relation of staff of Nigeria LNG Limited
Eligibility Criteria for NLNG Post Graduate Scholarship
- Have provisional admission from the University of Wolverhampton to study any of the following programs: Msc Civil Engineering, MSc Computer Science, MSc Information Technology Management, LLM International Business Law, MSc Mechanical Engineering, and MPH Public Health.
- Graduated with a minimum of Second Class Honours (upper division) in relevant field of study.
- Completed NYSC program.
- Have a minimum of 8.0 IELTS score (with not less than 7.0 in each element), OR 102 grade at TOEFL, OR 73-79 grade at Pearson Test of English Language (PTE).
- Be NOT more than 30 years of age at the time of application.
- Provide a letter of identification from applicable Local Government Council.
- Provide a letter of consent from employer (if in service of any organization).
- Provide a letter of consent from employer (if in service of any organization).
- Possess an international passport valid for travel, for at least one year from September 2024.
- Able to obtain a UK Tier-4 student visa if successful.
- Possess a domiciliary bank account (GBP and USD) with either GT Bank or First Bank for use if successful.
Benefits of NLNG Post Graduate Scholarship
Introduced in October 2012, this program admits 15 recipients annually for studies at prestigious UK universities. Each scholarship is valued at USD67,500 per awardee. However, the actual expenditure per recipient varies between USD45,000 and USD67,500, contingent upon the chosen course of study.
